This demo was created for a prospective app named Quickround, a social hub for golf novices to enthusiasts as a way to enjoy a few rounds and make new friends around you. All concept, creation, and execution of the logo, brand identity, and UI was created by the designer, Allie Barberan.
The thought the name was to simply get the point across –
"How about a quick round of golf?" 
Through much trial and error, the final icon was completed, being a combination of a hole-in-one while still making out the "Q" initial of the title. Because of the size of the logomark, the golf ball going into the hole can get lost, but is still acceptable as it is readable enough to make out the initial.
Before coming up with the final logo, various iterations were created under the brand Titleist as a fictional app. As stated above, the app is expected to debut as a stand-alone product with no affiliation to Titleist whatsoever.
